Miami Dining Out

Stepping into the enchanting realm of Komodo Miami, a high-end Southeast Asian restaurant, was like entering a contemporary paradise of culinary delight. From the moment my wife and I entered the elegantly designed space, we were captivated by its exotic ambiance and the intoxicating aromas that wafted through the air.

Greeted by a warm and attentive staff, we were escorted to our booth. The attentive waitress guided us through the extensive menu, which offered an array of various Southeast Asian dishes.

To begin our gastronomic adventure, we decided to indulge in the Cereal Rock Shrimp. As I took my first bite, the delicately sweet, and spicy sauce and shrimp burst on my taste buds, creating a harmonious symphony of flavors.

For my main course, I opted for the Wagyu skirt steak. It was a large portion and cooked to perfection. I can say it was a true work of culinary mastery. Each bite transported me to a little better place, and I was thrilled to experience the authenticity and craftsmanship of the chef’s creation. My wife had the Miso Chilean Seabass. It was cooked to perfection and served with a Chinese sweet potato. 

The dining experience at Komodo did not stop at the exquisite food; the innovative cocktail selection was equally impressive. I felt the stresses of the outside world melt away, leaving me in a state of pure bliss.

It was a small meal we did not even try the desserts as the portions were large. We did stay and people watch. As the evening drew to a close, I couldn’t help but marvel at the exceptional service and attention to detail displayed by the restaurant staff throughout our visit. Their passion for delivering a memorable experience was evident in every aspect, from the impeccable presentation of the dishes to their genuine enthusiasm for sharing their knowledge of Southeast Asian cuisine.

Leaving Komodo with a satisfied palate and a contented heart, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for having experienced such a fabulous restaurant. Komodo had truly managed to capture the essence of Miami’s fine dining, leaving an indelible mark on my culinary journey and igniting my desire to explore the rich and diverse flavors on our next visit. Being retired we have the time to explore and this evening was one of the best yet in 2023.
